Oktoberfest

This year, JSR will once again be celebrating Oktoberfest at Sebastian's Schnitzlehaus in Wrightstown, New Jersey. Established over 30 years ago, Sebastian serves delicious, authentic German food in a cozy setting.

Dinner choices will be traditional Oktoberfest fare and will include soup or salad and dessert. Pierogi and potato pancake appetizers will also be served.

Choices will be as follows: 

Oven Roasted Pork

Pork Loin roasted with herbs and spices until tender and then topped with gravy

Roulade

Thinly sliced beef roll with onions, bacon, pickle and mustard

Chicken Schnitzel

Hand tenderized chicken breast breaded and pan fried

Sauerbraten

Prime beef marinated in a special vinegar broth

Pork Schnitzel

Breaded tender boneless pork

Grilled Wurst Platter

Deliciously grilled bratwurst, knockwurst, and winewurst

Salmon

Topped with homemade dill sauce

With tax and gratuity, this wonderful meal would normally cost just under $60 per person, but let's thank PORSCHE MONMOUTH for their support of the Club. They will be subsidizing half of that cost bringing the per person price to $30 per person!  So be sure to thank Patrick Hauser and Karen Blatchley the next time you're in Long Branch!

Sebastian's is a BYOB restaurant, so bring your own favorite German beer or wine. They are also a "cash only" restaurant so remember to bring the $30 per person in cash or in a check made out to JSRPCA. 

Note that there is a limited amount of seating and we are asking for you to RSVP as early as possible –September 23rd at the latest.
